I spent five days in the desert, but it feels like five years. I’m sleep deprived, sore, and less one pair of sunglasses. I tried my hardest to collect lots of Coachella footage, but the fear of losing my third iPhone 6 of the year prevented me from doing so. Don’t worry though; I captured at least one picture of every outfit I wore to the fest!
I spent a lot of time dancing my ass off at the Sahara Tent, going crazy in Do Lab, and getting lost in the Yuma black hole. But, the highlight of my weekend was without a doubt The Weekend. When Kanye West came out during the ‘Heartless’ cover and took over the set my jaw dropped. It. Was. Everything.
I spent my pre-festival daytime lounging (partying) in bikinis. Although I love dressing up my bathing suits with cute cover-ups, I didn’t bother due to the scorching heat. I did, however, make sure to have a body chain and layered necklaces on around the pool at all times.
The first day of ‘chella, I wore a fabulous denim on denim co-ord from ASOS. I’ve previously highlighted how much I love twosies in my Two Is The New One post. My love has only grown since that. I added a jeweled headpiece for extra flare and carried a mini black fringe backpack. This is the last picture I’ll have with my blue reflective Illesteva sunnies—they were lost in the Coachella haze I was overtaken by. R.I.P.
On the second day, I went for a more boho look in a Novella Royalle maxi skirt, white off-shoulder Jen’s Pirate Booty crop top, brown suede hat, and my mini black fringe backpack.
The final day, I was in black denim ASOS short overalls, a gray Brandy Melville halter, and a gold crown headpiece. The best part of this outfit is my big, yellow, sunflower shaped bag that I bought at LF. Throughout all of my outfits, I dispersed thin gold jewelry and Flash Tats, without which my ensembles wouldn’t have been complete.
When it comes to festival shoes, comfort—while looking adorable—is essential. When you’re walking for miles and dancing for hours, your feet need to feel content. I wore black platform booties from Top Shop all three days. They have a rubber sole, making them flattering and easily endurable.
Also, nail art can serve as a great accessory! I got mine done in Chicago by Astrowifey.
