I’m not a very festive/spirited person, but I do love a good party. I joined in on the St. Patty’s activities this weekend, which of course, meant very little sleep. I used to laugh at those people that said growing up meant you needed extra recovery time. Well, I’m that annoying person now. A (little) too much going out leaves me exhausted. Unfortunately, the real world doesn’t care how tired I am. On this particular Monday, I am literally having a never-ending battle to keep my eyes open. I’m losing.

So what do you do when you couldn’t care less how you look, but still need to appear presentable? Throw on your comfiest, yet tidy, attire! When you look better you perform better—no exceptions.

I chose to wear a blouse from Top Shop. It looks like business on the outside, but feels like PJs on the inside. I paired it with Aritzia joggers, which I have an obsession with lately. They add an effortlessly trendy flare to any outfit, like they do here. A simple outfit becomes significantly cooler with jogger pants.

Accessories have a considerable affect on an outfit as well. Not only are my cat-eye seeing glasses (that I found in a tiny Parisian boutique!) fun, they help keep my eyes open. Serious win-win. I wore my Dior bag to add a little more statement to an otherwise simple outfit. I love mixing highs and lows.

By the way, an essential part of my outfit is my top bun. It's everything on a lazy Monday.
